DeFeo's Manor at Opera House Sq.

Is in the heart of historic Jim Thorpe, within convenient walking distance of all shops, galleries, museums and restaurants. We offer an adult getaway B & B, for couples and singles, with a guest suite and the Blue room, in our Queen Anne Victorian home, built circa 1880. A continental breakfast is served in private sitting areas overlooking mountains and the charming architecture on Broadway.
The Suite...Contains a sitting room with the breakfast table in the grand tower. The bedroom features handsome Victorian furniture (queen size bed) and a small, cozy turret. A connecting door leads to a private bathroom with a tiled stall shower and a bathtub.
The Blue room... has a Victorian Cherry wood Fireplace Mantle /Vent, King Size Bed, Breakfast Table and private bath.

*Suite and Blue rooms have Cable TV & VCR, a refrigerator stocked with juice, water, jams, fruit in season and butters. Hot and cold cereals, teas, coffee, hot chocolate and spiced cider or iced tea are kept in the suite and baked goods are added each morning. You may have breakfast in your PJ's in your room if you wish. Your rooms are safe. We had a guard cat named Larry whose spirit still keeps us safe (without the dander).


Summer or Winter, for your personal Parking convenience, just pull right in and park at our side porch
You may also store your Bike, Kayak, Diving suit, Skis etc in our Garage

   Directions: From the Turnpike Exit 74, follow 209 South to the Train Station. at the only traffic light in Historic Jim Thorpe turn left onto Broadway SEE MAP go up the hill to Opera House Square (About three blocks) Look for a Queen ann Victorian building on your left with five Garages next to it.
